Scouts of all ages can earn a variety of visual arts and arts related badges at the Michener Art Museum. We schedule programs for Scouts every season. In addition, our Creative Arts weekend workshops are wonderful opportunities for Scout groups to earn badges and have fun at the Museum. You may also call to schedule a private event, tailored to address your Scout troops' specific needs.
All Scout Badge Workshops are held at the Doylestown Michener, and are taught by experienced Michener Art Museum faculty.
Workshop fees are $12 per child. This fee includes gallery admission, special exhibitions and all art materials for the studio projects. One chaperone for every six scouts is admitted free. Additional chaperones are admitted at a reduced admission rate of $9.00 per person. For each date, choose a session from those listed below.
Maximum number of Scouts per time slot is limited. Please book early. Embroidered scout badges are on sale at our gift shop for an additional $3 per child or may be prepaid at the time of registration.

Art to Wear!
Saturday April 24

Incorporate what you see in an original fashion project that combines drawing and painting with fabric and costume design.
Summer 2010 Sensational Seascapes for Scouts
Scout groups are invited to join us in the galleries and the art studio to learn about Pennsylvania Impressionist seascapes, create an original watercolor painting, and earn their Visual Arts Badge.
