Counselors in Training (CITs)

All of our Counselor in Training volunteer opportunities are currently filled for summer 2008. We appreciate your interest in our program. Please check back in January to get involved in our summer 2009 CIT program.

We're seeking responsible teen volunteers ages 14 to 18 to become Counselors-in-Training (CITs) at the James A. Michener Art Museum's many on-site and off-site summer camps. Volunteering at a Michener camp is a fun way to spend part of your summer and a great way to learn about art, education and art museums. You can also add valuable community service experience to your national junior honor society, national honor society, resume and college applications.
