the James A. Michener Art Museum is eager to provide your students with quality,
hands-on learning experiences, both at the Museum and in the classroom. In
addition, we offer several opportunities for your own continuing education.

A collaborative outreach program between the Michener Art Museum and the Bucks
County Intermediate Unit #22 which brings original works of art to your school.
New phase of program set to begin soon with recent funding from The Institute of
Museums and Library Services.

students. Free admission for all school groups for 2008!
- Arts Enrichment
Calling all teachers! Work with the Michener Museum Education Outreach
Department to coordinate an arts enrichment program at your school.
- Arts First Steps: Preschool Outreach Programs
Preschools will work with museum educators during the year to learn about works
of art and engage students in the art making process, balancing classroom visits
with visits to the Museum.
- The Robert V. Nesi Education Scholarship: The
Art Education Volunteer Scholarship Program
Scholarships for art classes, workshops and summer camps are available through
the generous support of local sponsors. We welcome scholarship recipients as
well as contributors.
